This event was hosted by JRFM’s Bob Saye and featured a sumptuous dinner with an outdoor pig roast and steaks, chicken, prawns, and all the fixings from M&M Meat Shop – with cream puffs and chocolate cake for dessert!

The firefighters did an amazing job or organizing, preparing, cooking, serving and even cleaning up after the dinner ended at 8PM.

The guests were overwhelmed with the fabulous food, beautiful home and gorgeous outdoor surroundings (the scenery was perfect with two swans sailing by in the pond just off the back deck!).

Many, many thanks to Andrew and the Chilliwack Fire Fighters and to Cottages at Cultus Lake development manager Jon Van Geel for preparing the cabin for the dinner party and to Chad Goertzen of Sundance Farms www.pigbbq.ca for supplying the pig/BBQ setup.
